Anatolian Selçuk Sultan Alaaddin Keykubat captured Alanya in 1221. Alaaddin Keykubat renovated the city and made it the winter capital. Hasbahçe is the place where Alaaddin Keykubat rested in the winter on the Mediterranean coast. The view here is such that the city can be seen better. It is still a pristine place in the middle of nature. There are remains of ancient walls around it.

Natural hollow made with kirsch stone Dibek Belen, where animals drink water from, olive, plum, and pine trees are in a protected location. Pools are dating from ancient years to irrigate the garden. Alaaddin Keykubat chose 2 places while looking for a place to stay. Alanya castle and this Hasbahçe. While deciding which one to stay in, a piece of meat was tied to the trees in both places, and the meat remained intact in the garden. And decided to stay here. Our design team has listened to the history and texture of the earth from wise people, read its history, and designed it using organic materials, nowadays and future technologies, without disturbing its texture. We build the building and its facade using materials. We can reach the view uninterruptedly by using the slope of the land.

The concept of the project is Alaaddin Keykubat’s mansion Hasbahçe. We build village houses. We use the gray stones of the land on the facades and the timbers of the trees in the joinery of the building. We use bricks for exterior plastering. This is a power generation project. This project is completely designed to create a natural air conditioning effect by capturing the forest breeze into the buildings. Residential aspects of this situation are concentrated on the peninsula above the sea. All details have been considered to ensure a natural peaceful quality of life for the people who will live here.
