We embarked on a journey of discovery, engaging in immersive interviews and collaborative workshops to genuinely understand our client’s perspective. We actively listened to their values, goals and motivations seeking to comprehend their unique needs and concerns. Through open-ended conversations, we gained insight into their lifestyle, preferences, and vision for sustainability. By empathizing with their aspirations and challenges, we established a deep understanding of their requirements, allowing us to craft a personalized solution that not only meets but exceeds their expectations. They required maximum day light and wanted to make a compact space look lively. So keeping in mind about strength and sustainability, combination of metal, wood and texture were suited the best. With a deep understanding of our client’s needs and aspirations, we entered an intensive ideation phase. Our multidisciplinary team of experts freely exchanged ideas, brainstormed and sketched pushing boundaries and
challenging assumptions. Our team tried to explore these Materials with different approach and tried to generate the designs from the nature around them. We took “Butterfly” as our inspiration and designed the furniture accordingly. The theme for this project was “Modern Minimalism with a touch of nature”. In this project the aim was to create a space which celebrates simplicity and clean lines. By blending the sleek aesthetics of contemporary design with metal and wood, we wanted to craft an environment that felt both calming and sophisticated.
To bring our vision to life, we embarked on an iterative prototyping process. Two key areas of focus were :-
1. Metal Furniture Fabrication-
• We collaborated with local artisans to develop custom metal working
technique, combining traditional craftsmanship and modern technology.
• Prototypes were refined through material experimentation, ensuring durability.
• The final design featured sleek, minimalist metal frames, expertly crafted
to complement natural surroundings.
2. Sunlight Optimization-
• We utilized 3d modelling and simulation tools to analyze sunlight patterns and identify opportunities for enhancement.
• Prototype ietrations involved adjusting window placements, testing various glazing materials ,and incorporating mirrored surfaces to amplify sunlight.
• The resulting design channeled sunlight deep into the space, reducing
• Artifical lighting needs and creating uplifting atmosphere.
The chosen color palette includes neutral tones such as whites, soft greys, and beiges, complemented by natural wood accents and subtle greens from indoor plants. These colors are intended to evoke a sense of tranquility and harmony while maintaining a timeless elegance. We conducted rigorous testing to ensure our design solutions meet the client’s needs.
On-site evaluations assessed the metal furniture’s durability and comfort. Lighting simulations validated our sunlight optimization strategies.
