a task. The main task was to realize the customer’s dream of a small garden in the style of the “New Wave” with lots of flowers, herbs, cereals and smooth water.
THE CONCEPT. The garden was designed and created for people who have great respect and love for nature, plants, and the details surrounding them. It was necessary to provide a large number of zones for a variety of outdoor recreation scenarios. Thus, the site is located: a small ornamental vegetable garden with a miniature greenhouse, a playground area, a terrace with a fire pit overhanging a pond, a circular lawn surrounded by tall grasses and even a small beach.
Natural paving materials were used on the site, such as eco–friendly gabbro granite for step-by-step slabs, terraced paths made of larch and granite chips. All flower beds are made in a natural style, which is combined with the surrounding landscape of the fields.
The main element of the garden is a pond with a large mirror of water, which reflects the entire surrounding landscape. In the evening, due to the illumination, the water can take on all possible colors, creating a different mood. You can talk about the details in the garden for a long time, these are decorative beds surrounded by flowers, and an integrated “architectural” horsetail into the terrace, and mosses through a pond, local illumination of flower beds and plant crowns, and illumination that betrays the effect of floating steps, decorative boulders of shungite and basalt, and much more…
In our opinion, we have created a cozy garden in which it will be comfortable and interesting to spend time.
The plot is divided into two levels. The drop runs along the boundary of the facade of the building facing the reservoir. Thus, we further reveal the panorama from the terrace at the house to the lower part of the plot with a pond. All zones are separated by a clear geometry of paths and flower beds, which soften the strict lines. By dividing the land into a large number of segments, it was possible to visually increase the area.
