This mosque design is a bold contemporary interpretation of Ottoman architectural principles, inspired by the sacred geometry of Muqarnas. Rather than treating Muqarnas as ornamentation, the design elevates it into a structural language transforming the mosque into a sculptural form that reflects spiritual ascent.

The faceted roof rises like a mountain of interlocked Muqarnas elements, animated by shifting sunlight and shadow. At the center, a geometric dome composed of sharp pyramidal forms converges into an oculus a symbolic eye to the heavens. From above, the mosque appears as a crystalline blossom, radiating sacred geometry in all directions.

Natural light plays a central role throughout. Triangular fenestrations on the façade cast patterned shadows into the prayer hall, while roof lights scatter daylight across the space in kaleidoscopic patterns.

Materiality is restrained stone or concrete with a smooth matte finish enhances the purity and monolithic presence of the building. This minimal palette aligns with Islamic principles of humility while highlighting the mosque’s form and light interplay.

The design honors Ottoman spatial ambition and symbolism while embracing innovation. It abstracts tradition into a new architectural language rooted in geometry, spirituality, and light. Its more than a place of worship, the mosque stands as a contemporary spiritual sculpture an evolving expression of Islamic architecture that bridges the past and the future.
