“This place has been the dearest to my heart since I was a child”
With these words, the client chose to describe the house she had recently purchased, explaining how this area, on the edge of the city but surrounded by greenery, had always been her refuge. The house should therefore resemble her and awaken in her the sense of freedom and lightness that she felt as a child, in an organic and dynamic relationship with nature.
A large flat on the first floor and attic, generously windowed and with good exposure, with independent access from the ground floor courtyard. From the entrance, the flat can only be imagined or perceived, so it was necessary to work on awaking people’s curiosity and make them wanting to go upstairs.
That goal was reached through geometry (two flights of stairs chasing each other), materials (travertino with integrated lighting, wood and steel), colors and finishing.
At the top of the first slight of stairs, the main room opens to the sight: kitchen is the star, with the wall of appliances located along the stairs, and a central island in which a small artificial herb garden is set just to evoke the greenery outside the windows. The dining area is dominated by the chandelier, whose finishing matches the one of the kitchen.
From here, the second slight of stairs provides access to the mezzanine, where television and relaxation area are set, and a door brings to the sleeping area, with bedrooms and bathrooms.
We designed a place where our client could feel at ease, where she along with her family can grow old, in a continuance of emotions and experiences to be passed to the next generation.

Studio Prospettiva

Studio Prospettiva is an on-going project with many ideas for the future. The very first steps were in fact initiated in 2000. During these years the project benefitted from much training and work experience via the collaboration with other professionals. Nowadays, the project is flourishing. Why Studio Prospettiva? We chose the name “Studio Prospettiva” because in Italian the term “prospectiva” engulfs both the concept of perspective (the graphical technique for architectural representation by creating an image from space and projecting it on the flat) and that of our future prospects which deliver a glimpse on the World.
