Conference rooms, offices, restrooms, and other facilities are located around the circular exhibition space. The high ceiling and spacious space are meticulously designed with a streamlined layout.
The unique design of the ceiling is particularly noteworthy. It is divided into two levels, one high and one low. The higher section is made of multiple thinly sliced panels, creating a floating feeling. Indirect lighting filters in through the joints between the panels, creating a fantastical ceiling. This is truly the highlight of the space. Indirect lighting is also installed in various other areas, effectively enhancing the space.
The exhibition space and negotiation room are separated by glass, but are seamlessly connected. The vehicles on display can be seen from the negotiation room, so visitors can always be aware of them. However, the lighting in the negotiation room is kept low to ensure privacy. In addition to this negotiation room, we also have another one, which we use depending on the situation.
We need to display cars beautifully and create mechanisms to stimulate customers’ desire to buy. The process leading up to a purchase is different for each customer. Some make an instant decision, while others return multiple times. It is extremely important that cars look beautiful no matter how many times they visit, and that the space is exciting.
In terms of design, we place emphasis on how to make products look attractive and stimulate customers’ desire to buy. And above all, we need mechanisms to draw customers into the store. For this reason, visibility from the outside is also extremely important. For example, the store’s high, impactful, floating ceiling panels and the fantastical indirect lighting that surrounds them were designed with this very point in mind.
