Color & Layers in Corte Madera

About the project

This living space is an exercise in layered design, a composition of color, texture, and architectural detail that feels both artful and deeply livable.
Anchored by a refined yet comfortable seating area, the room is built around the interplay of soft neutrals and intentional color moments. Built-in shelving stretches across one wall, offering both display and discreet function, including a hidden door seamlessly integrated into the millwork.
An art nook tucked within this space provides a more intimate experience, defined by enveloping tones and curated lighting that highlight artwork and sculptural forms. Together, the living area and art nook express a thoughtful balance of structure and softness, inviting both conversation and quiet reflection.
Every detail, from custom cabinetry to layered textiles and collected objects, reinforces our studio’s philosophy that beauty emerges from both precision and warmth. The result is a living space that feels cohesive, personal, and effortlessly refined.
