Huangchong Smart Manufacturing Industrial Park is a key provincial and municipal construction project in Guangdong, developed and operated by a collective enterprise of Huangchong Village under the “industrial-to-industrial” urban renewal model. Located in the heart of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, the park covers approximately 248 mu (about 165,000 square meters) with a total construction area of 660,000 square meters and a planned investment of 2.6 billion RMB, to be developed in three phases.

The park focuses on strategic emerging industries such as high-end equipment manufacturing, new-generation information technology, new energy, new materials, and the digital economy. It provides high-standard factory buildings, customized workshops, R&D offices, and corporate headquarters, along with talent apartments, business hotels, a science and innovation park, and commercial amenities—creating an integrated industrial community that combines work, life, and leisure.

Since its opening in 2024, the park has attracted dozens of specialized and high-tech enterprises, creating a large number of skilled and managerial jobs. Many former migrant workers have returned to work “at their doorstep,” with significantly higher incomes and greatly improved living conditions. These changes have strengthened their sense of gain, belonging, and pride, inspiring them to take an active part in the development of their hometown. In 2026, the villagers spontaneously organized traditional lion dances and other festive events to celebrate their new lives and express firm confidence in the future of Huangchong.
