EDEN NOVA- is a mixed-use residential and hospitality complex located near Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The project occupies a site of approximately *1.5 hectares* and creates a contemporary architectural environment that integrates residential apartments, townhouses, hotel units, and public spaces into a unified spatial composition.
The core concept of the project is based on establishing a harmonious relationship between architecture and the natural landscape. Existing vegetation on the site became the starting point for shaping the spatial structure of the development. Green areas are carefully preserved and integrated into a network of gardens, shaded walkways, and private relaxation zones, creating a distinctive identity while improving microclimatic comfort in the hot desert environment.
The architectural composition is organized around a central public landscape featuring a pool, lounge areas, and lush gardens. This central space acts as the social heart of the complex, creating a resort-like atmosphere that encourages relaxation, social interaction, and a strong connection to nature.
The functional program includes several residential typologies designed to support diverse living scenarios: hotel apartments for short-term stays, residential apartments for long-term living, and townhouses with private terraces and gardens. This mix of housing options provides flexibility while accommodating the needs of both residents and visitors.
Special attention has been given to architectural strategies that enhance environmental comfort in the region’s hot climate. Shading systems, double-layer façades, landscaped courtyards, and water elements contribute to reducing heat gain and creating comfortable outdoor environments.
The project interprets traditional principles of Middle Eastern architecture—privacy, shaded spaces, and strong connections to nature—through a contemporary architectural language. EDEN creates a balanced and sustainable environment where architecture, landscape, and hospitality services merge to provide a refined and comfortable living experience.
