About the project

Perched on Level 36 of Dubai’s Emirates Towers, the Government Experience Exchange Office (GEEO) embodies a rigorous architectural meditation on the contemporary institutional workplace, stripped of corporate pastiche and reimagined through the lens of structural essentialism. The project is a masterclass in "material honesty," where the tactile weight of engraved natural marble meets the ethereal clarity of fluid, curved transitions. It functions less as a conventional office and more as a curated sequence of sensory experiences—a high-altitude sanctuary that mediates between the intensity of executive governance and the requirement for a composed, tranquil interiority.

The commission was initiated by a high-level government entity seeking a premier executive environment that could distill institutional gravitas into a contemporary vernacular. The mandate called for a 1,105-square-meter floorplate prioritizing operational clarity over mere display. Key requirements included a spatial logic that seamlessly transitions from high-capacity representational functions to secluded, confidential zones for strategic dialogue, all while maintaining a profound connection to national identity and global exchange.
