New COTRAL Headquarters

About the project

The project for the restyling of Cotral S.p.A.’s
new headquarters is part of a broader process
aimed at evolving this in-house company of the
Lazio Region.
The project involved the headquarters in
Rome, a building of about 6,000 square meters
spread over 4 levels plus a basement.
The restyling is total; in fact, the project first
of all provides for a complete revision of the
functional layout which, following a Co-Design
process with the company’s employees,
aims to reflect its objectives and goals.
The plan adopts a free plan in which individual
spaces are minimized to make room for sharing
and collective use.
The systems are being fully overhaul to improve
energy efficiency and supply from sustainable
sources. The project also constitutes a challenge
from the point of view of construction
since it is planned to carry out the construction
work without interrupting the company’s
work activities.
