Located in the heart of Manama, the capital of Bahrain, Qreative Design Studio’s new office space brings elegance and luxury to one of the most iconic vintage buildings in Bahrain. Qreative Design Studio specializes in high end residential and commercial interiors with a sophisticated design approach. The studio brings luxury to spaces while maintaining functionality, livability and a great level of comfort.

The design of the office space intended to create a luxury boutique experience for its users. The clients who visit the studio enjoy an exceptional experience from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave the office. The rich selection of materials and textures bolster this concept. The colors used are neutrals yet rich. The different shades of earthy colors with sharp contrasts with darker colors create a unique depth in the space. To compliment the neutral hues with richness, the walls are kept simple with only two feature walls. The first, is the backdrop of the main desk. It is enriched with a unique stone art piece sourced locally and placed on a dark background to create contrast and depth. The second feature wall is designed to display some of the high-end finishes and material samples that the studio showcases to clients. A struggle of small office spaces is usually material samples that get stored away or piled up in an unappealing way in a corner. However, in Qreative Design Studio, the material samples are a celebrated integral part of the interior space as a bouquet of colors and textures.

Qreative Design Studio transformed this office space from an empty and cold space into a warm and rich boutique office. This process was filled with challenges and obstacles. The building is more than half a century old, which created numerous design restrictions and challenges. For example, some existing columns and walls had to be retained and worked around. The ceiling was covered with outdated acoustic ceiling tiles. The design, thus, stripped the ceiling off and exposed the original finish, which is blockwork and concrete. After exposing the original finish, the latter was painted with charcoal black matte paint. The result is a rich and deep ceiling finish that created an illusion of a higher ceiling. Every corner of this office space was thought off carefully and utilized in a smart way to create a personalized and unique experience.
