The client is Plateaux, a premium grazing tables and grazing boxes business based in Athens. Plateaux operates in the food and events sector, offering ready-made grazing boxes and curated grazing tables designed for gatherings, celebrations and professional events. The client positions food not only as a matter of taste, but as a visual and social experience meant to be shared.
The brief was to develop a cohesive brand identity and packaging system that would reflect the quality, creativity and versatility of Plateaux’s offering. The client wanted the brand to communicate a premium character without appearing unattainable or excessively luxurious. The visual identity needed to feel refined yet inviting, sophisticated yet approachable.
A key objective was to strike a balance between high quality and accessibility. The brand should avoid a mass-market feel, while remaining warm, welcoming and effortless. The identity was required to work across a wide range of contexts, from private celebrations to professional and corporate events, including client gifting.
Inclusivity was an important consideration. The brand needed to appeal to urban professionals, food enthusiasts, event organisers and companies looking to offer a thoughtful, elevated experience to employees or clients.
Aesthetic impact and memorability were central to the brief. The design was expected to feel special and shareable, encouraging social visibility without relying on trends or overt decoration. At the same time, the client requested a sense of timeless simplicity: clean, modern and minimal, without becoming too formal or distant.
Sustainability was also highlighted as a value. The visual language and packaging were expected to align with eco-conscious principles through the use of natural references, textures and materials.
The scope of the project included the development of brand name and logo options, a complete visual identity system with brand guidelines, and packaging design for grazing boxes. Packaging was specified as pre-printed paper boxes with transparent windows, designed to showcase the contents while maintaining a premium, approachable character.
Overall, the project aimed to create a clear, recognisable brand that elevates the grazing experience by combining visual elegance, emotional warmth and practical versatility.

The concept “The Grazing Atelier” defines the system. Each grazing box functions as a visual tableau. The peacock, paired with an ornamented Rococo fork, references the lavish tables of the French court, establishing a maximalist and expressive tone that embraces abundance with confidence and theatricality.
Packaging is conceived as a framing device rather than a container. Transparent surfaces allow the ingredients themselves to become protagonists, while bold colour acts as a statement that heightens visual intensity. The fork appears repeatedly across the system, from the brand mark to ribbon-bound cards that identify the theme of each box, linking the act of eating with the act of presentation.
Typography plays a defining role. The use of the Greek character Π in the name Plateaux references the idea of a surface or base where things are laid out and displayed, giving the identity structure, presence and immediate recognisability.
