Rooted in ferrocrete construction and cloaked in a refined concrete texture, the design embraces a raw yet sophisticated palette. Conventional overheads, tiled flooring, and wooden skirtings are consciously omitted, replaced by the understated monolith of epoxy flooring. Work surfaces are clad in salvaged oak wood, their structural framework crafted entirely from scrap, marrying longevity with environmental stewardship.
Sustainability is not a layer but the very skeleton of the project. Its biophilic dimension softens the tactile austerity of concrete — partitions double as vertical gardens, animated by “grow” LED lighting, while handmade ceramic planters punctuate the space with organic warmth.
At the heart of the office, a green avocado stone-carved table anchors the space as both functional workstation and sculptural centrepiece. Quarter curves choreograph flow and proportion throughout, while carved details and architectural miniatures embed symbolic references to the craft and identity of a property broker. Even the meeting room table base emerges as a metaphorical architectural form, reinforcing the spatial ethos.
