About the project
SŌLIS is an ambient table lamp that reinterprets the fleeting beauty of a sunset as a sculptural object for everyday living. Defined by the relationship between a glowing spherical diffuser and a wave-formed base, the design abstracts the moment when the sun lowers into the horizon, translating a natural phenomenon into a calm and intimate lighting experience. The textured base evokes the visual character of rock and water, while the warm orange light introduces softness, depth, and emotional warmth into the interior. SŌLIS lamp captures the warmth of a sunset and places it gently into your cozy space. A quiet glow for slow evenings. Beyond illumination, SŌLIS is designed to shape atmosphere—encouraging stillness, reflection, and a stronger emotional connection between object, light, and space.
