This is a single-storey timber-framed house project. Conceived around the principle of ‘timeless design that never feels dated, even decades later’, it achieves a simple yet imposing aesthetic that captivates the viewer.
The layout features a 2LDK configuration centred around the living-dining-kitchen area, with bedrooms, a guest room, powder room, bathroom, and toilet. Notably, meticulous structural design eliminates all exposed interior columns, achieving a spacious, open-plan interior. Large south-facing sash windows seamlessly connect to a generous terrace, creating a rich living space where indoors and outdoors become one.The façade, serving as the building’s face, was meticulously calculated in its vertical and horizontal proportions to pursue a form universally perceived as beautiful.
The eaves of the terrace, the carport roof, and the gable walls at both ends of the building are connected as one with the same visible dimension (thickness), forming a simple yet striking outline. This design, stripped of all superfluity, radiates a timeless beauty that will be cherished for generations.
