Svetlana Tryaskina of ESTEE DESIGN has shared photos of a contemporary home renovation that she completed for a busy family of five.
One of the design elements that caught our attention, was the room that includes colorful accent walls in the form of ombre wallpaper.
The ombre wallpaper transitions from teal blue to soft blush pink, which is complemented by the bedding, matte pink furniture, and artwork.
Let’s take a look around the rest of the interior…
Upon entry to the home, there’s a sitting room with a bay window, and wall paneling that’s painted to match the rest of the wall.
A secondary living room is more casual in its design with a fireplace and TV, open shelving, and a wood cabinet with textured woven details.
Nearby, there’s a section of built-in cabinets that include a desk.
Another built-in design element is the dining area, with banquette seating that lines the corner. The pale blue cushions add a soft pop of color to the mostly white space.
The pale blue cushions complement the lower blue cabinets in the kitchen, while a tile laid in a herringbone pattern acts as a backsplash.
The stairs by the front door lead up to the second floor of the home.
In the primary bedroom, contemporary furnishings make for a calm environment, while a closet with mirrored doors reflects light around the room.
In the primary bathroom, blue-grey tiles line the wall, while patterned hexagonal tiles feature on the floor.
In another bathroom, graphic wallpaper covers the walls and the white accents help to keep the interior bright.
