Return to your account after the announcement.

1. Choose the project and nomination

Start with the work you want the jury to assess. Compare the available nominations with the project’s discipline and stage, and read the competition terms before registering. Check eligibility and make sure you have permission to enter and publish the materials.

Each project needs its own registration. A project may have several paid nominations, but the same submitted presentation is used for those nominations. If the presentations need to differ, prepare separate entries.

2. Create or sign in to your participant account

Use the Participate Now button to access the account process. Follow the activation instructions if you register by email. Your account brings together your entries, payment status and project materials; new entries do not require a registration key.

Your new account displays only new projects registered in the new system. Projects from the previous system will not appear in this account.

3. Register your project and complete payment

Choose Register New Project in your account, enter the requested details and select the nominations. Review the amount and billing information before proceeding to payment. Use the current fee schedule when planning your budget.

After checkout, check the payment status in your account. If payment is still pending or being confirmed, check its status before trying again. A successful payment makes the paid entry available for preparing materials; it does not by itself complete the submission.

Add nominations later

Want to enter an additional nomination after registration? Open your project in your participant account and select Add nominations. Choose the additional nominations and pay for them separately while registration is open.

Find your invoices

All your invoices are available in the Payments tab of your participant account. Open Payments to review your payments and access the invoices for your purchases.

4. Prepare your presentation in My Entries

Open the paid project and complete the fields in the editor. Prepare a clear English description, accurate author or designer details, the project country and image credits. Add the cover and supporting materials requested by the form.

  • Explain the project’s context, design idea and the decisions shown in your presentation.
  • Use the dedicated credit fields, and follow the competition’s anonymity requirements for the jury presentation.
  • Follow the current format, dimension and file-size limits displayed beside each upload field.
  • Confirm both required permissions for submitting and using the materials.

The submission FAQ gives detailed answers about accepted files, multiple nominations and editing. Save your text and uploads before leaving the editor.

5. Submit and verify the status

Choose Save as draft if you need to return later. When the presentation is ready, choose Save and submit, then check that My Entries shows Submitted. Resolve any missing-field or permission messages before the submission deadline.

You can edit while the submission period remains open. After saving changes, check the status again: removing a required cover can return the project to Draft. Allow time for a final review and use the deadline and time zone shown in your account.

Before you leave your account

  • Payment is confirmed for the intended project and nominations.
  • The saved presentation contains the correct text, cover, supporting materials and credits.
  • Required permissions are complete.
  • The entry is marked Submitted, rather than only paid or saved as a draft.

Start your IADA entry or continue preparing a registered project.
