The client asked for “a hotel-like bedroom and bathroom in their home, so they could feel as if they were on vacation every day”

Studio Kloek has shared images of a bedroom and bathroom suite they designed for their client who desired “a hotel-like bedroom and bathroom in their home, so they could feel as if they were on vacation every day.”

To create this look, the designers added 26 feet (8m) of dressing cabinets that line the walls, and a central unit that combines the bed, bathroom vanity, shower, and bathtub.

To enhance the hotel ambiance, the central area is upholstered and carpeted, improving acoustic comfort and making the central furniture piece feel cozy.

The bed is positioned centrally, with a cylindrical shower and a freestanding bathtub offering a view of the garden.

The vanity and the area around the bathtub are finished with a micro concrete topping, while the floor is laid with herringbone parquet, and tiles are placed around the shower cylinder for stepping out when wet.

The inside of the circular shower is covered with a glass mosaic.
