Comprehensive renovation project of Mar Vidal Interior Architecture from nightclub to nightlife social club with dinners and shows carried out in Madrid, Spain during the months of October to December 2023

Mar Vidal in this unique project evokes the passion of the 1920s and speakeasies mixed with the strength of the eighties era and its musical groups.

A total intervention was carried out, creating an entrance and main hall that would receive the client in an exclusive and luxurious way, subsequently transforming the space into a creative madness that begins at the staircase.

By increasing the capacity of the premises from 300 people to 500, the intervention required the conditioning of air systems and the creation of new fire doors, which left a narrow and narrow staircase descent area. To alleviate this, we developed a concept of a luxurious and extravagant art gallery in blue and red tones with teardrop effect lamps that accompany the entire descent along the perimeter.

In the main room, 2 new bars are created and the existing one is modified and special stages are created for the VIP areas in addition to a central stalls area overlooking the stage, modified to accommodate shows of all kinds.

Specifically, several areas are created, two of them exclusive, one separated by curtains and with direct access to the stage and a piano and another completely independent and with an exterior entrance for VIP clients.

The areas are divided by color, leaving the right part of the premises in red tones and mimicking walls, floors and ceilings with the same motif and the left part in blue tones on walls and ceilings, thus creating small caves.

As for the separate VIP space, it was decided to completely break the aesthetics of the rest of the premises and a golden cave was created with a glass mosaic in this tone that covers both the walls, ceiling and floors and in both the VIP space and the bar and the attached and adapted bathroom.
