I. Project Overview
1. Project location: The Jining Wenshang Outlets Commercial Plaza Project is situated in Wenshang County, Jining, Shandong. The plot is located south of Xingzhong Road, east of the scheduled Huaru Road, west of Zhenxing Road, and north of the planned Yuanxing Road. The land area is approximately 33,333 square meters. The total construction area is 46,800 square meters.
2. Current situation analysis: The base is an empty lot, with three sides facing the road. The east is a city park, the west is a pending construction site, the south is adjacent to supporting land, and the north is a research and development industrial park.
3. General layout: On the general plan, the surrounding of the plot is a two-story open commercial district, with a three-story comprehensive commercial building in the center and a six-story hotel on the west side. It forms a basic street layout of two vertical and two horizontal lines.
The concept of sports outlets is integrated with commerce, allowing the derived demands of family consumption to be integrated into daily shopping experiences. Various forms of fitness and sports on the ground, indoors, and on the roof meet the needs of national fitness and users of all ages. At the same time, special theme blocks are added, create an “immersive experiential” commercial space, creating a more attractive commercial form.
II. Design Goals and Innovative Concepts
1. Fashion shopping landmark: To break the stereotypical image of the traditional shopping mall, this project brings a brand-new commercial feeling and enlivens the commercial atmosphere by creating of a fashionable architectural space. The leading shopping space will attract various types of people and provide an advanced shopping experience for Wenshang. This building is not just a shopping center but also a landmark filled with fashion and art.
2. Sports complex: To respond to the national call, the designer strives to innovate the sports consumption mechanism, focus on disseminating sports culture, and create the domestically leading and the first sports and commercial complex in Shandong, advocating a healthy lifestyle. The first local overhead sports field will be set up. This project focuses on the needs of citizens and provides the all-age leisure and sports service space for the development and implementation of citizens’ experience of dynamic urban space.
3. Diverse block experiences: Besides the comfortable and atmospheric indoor shopping center, the project also provides many three-dimensional blocks, effectively and naturally bringing the surrounding urban street life into the project. By shaping different types of air-linked bridges and introducing different types of commercial formats, this air-linked block gives a diverse feeling of change and fills every corner with different temperaments and atmosphere. Walking in it will be a highly diverse shopping experience.
