Located in the Huangpu River Bay of the world, the Qiantan Lily Garden sings the fragrance of Shanghai among the three bays on one bank. The elegant S plot, resembling a butterfly, features a three way viewing pattern of Huangpu River to the west, Sanlin Bay to the south, and urban forest to the north. Between the riverbank and the green lungs of the city, it consciously undertakes the mission of rebuilding a romantic atmosphere. The designer plans the layout of western-style houses to the north and row houses to the south with a logic that fits the terrain and style, complementing the environmental characteristics of the south water and north forest. At the same time, by blending the interior and exterior of the perimeter landscape, the focus is shifted from the “interior” to the “boundary”, completing a beautiful transition from the city to home. In the practice of “Shanghai style French” in the Qiantan Lily Garden, compared to traditional French, it has shown more modern and regional characteristics. Firstly, this difference is reflected in the use of modern materials. While adhering to the large proportion of the classical three section style, the Western style houses in Qiantan Lily Garden introduce modern materials such as metal to create millimeter level profile lines. There is a metal level outline between the main material and the glass, which is exquisite and upright, highlighting a sense of value, making the building present a relatively relaxed and modern temperament.
