Hollyshop on Kotelnicheskaya Embankment is more than just a store—it’s a brand interaction point designed to foster a community. In the era of fast delivery, the goal was to offer customers more: inspiration, knowledge, events, and social media content opportunities.

The store features a well-planned layout with large windows, making the entrance area ideal for a wide bench and a table for workshops and product testing. A standout feature is the guest restroom, memorable for its bold design.

The client is deeply passionate about their brand, carefully selecting products and formulations. Our team aimed to create a space people wouldn’t want to leave. With a growing product range, they balanced dense wall displays with key elements like rounded “dutiks”—plasterboard structures that define the space’s character.

Brand colors were integrated into the design, with a neutral gray ceramic base. An innovative sink for product testing, inspired by Aesop and Korean brands like Tamburins, was introduced—an uncommon feature in Russian retail.

The project also embraced cost-effective techniques, such as polystyrene foam with a microcement finish, replacing expensive casting. The centerpiece “snakes” form a labyrinth, encouraging visitors to explore the assortment in a dynamic way.

One of the greatest achievements was developing unique design elements without obvious references. The project successfully creates an immersive environment, encouraging customers to engage with the brand on a deeper level.
