Chantanee Chiranthanut is a Thai architect, researcher, and professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Khon Kaen University, with a Ph.D. from The University of Shiga Prefecture in Japan. She specializes in vernacular and contemporary architecture in Asia, focusing on cultural adaptation, spatial dynamics, and environmental design.
In 2019, she co-founded DIALOGUE C+N, an architectural design firm that bridges Local Wisdom with contemporary practice. Her work embraces experimentation, blending traditional knowledge with modern methods. As an educator, she leads design-build courses through the C.Lab studio, integrating vernacular knowledge with real-world applications. She has served as a jury member for international design competitions and has published research internationally on Southeast Asian housing and architectural transformation.
