Laura Mimini is an accomplished industrial designer and design director with over a decade of international experience across Italy, Australia, America, and China. Her work spans a wide range of industries, including lifestyle, mobility, healthcare, consumer electronics, and luxury goods. Since 2021, she has co-led D2P – Design, a product design studio headquartered in Foshan, with branch offices in Ningbo and Fujian (China), collaborating with International designers on projects that reach global markets.

Laura’s design philosophy blends cross-cultural insight with a strong passion for experimentation and innovation. She has led concept development for major global brands and received recognition from prestigious competitions such as the Red Dot Design Award, iF Design Award, Good Design Award Australia, Good Design Korea and UK Creativepool award and LICC official selection. Her award-winning designs include the MEUM electric bass guitar and Brembo’s RCS Corsa Corta clutch pump.

Beyond her professional practice, Laura contributes to design education through lectures and workshops in China, Italy, and Macao. She has served as a jury member for numerous international competitions, including the Good Design Award Australia — where she has been an ambassador since 2022 — IDA Design Awards (USA), Canton Fair Design Award (China), and Grand Prix Du Design (Canada).
