“Celebrating the Elemental Dance: An Immersive Journey of Synchronicity”
4 Elements is an Interactive Light Art Installation that is inspired by the four elements: Fire, Water, Earth, and Air.
4 Elements is simultaneously a synchronized show between music and light, also working as an interactive artwork, where the participants will have the opportunity to control the light display just by moving their hands in the interactive totem changing the different elements.
Very poetically, each element has its own moment during the show, appearing together in the end and demonstrating the connection between them 4.
It is not merely a harmonious duet between sound and light; it is a canvas for your creativity. With a simple gesture of your hand, you become the conductor, orchestrating the ebb and flow of the four essential elements. This interactive artwork is a testament to the harmonious interplay of light, sound, and motion, beckoning you to explore the very elements that compose our world. As you immerse yourself in this experience, it prompts introspection about our place on this planet and the profound impact we have on it.
The artwork awakens an unique sensation – in a combination of light, sound and movement – calling off to the elements that constitute our world, leading to a reflection on our place on earth and the way we have an impact on the world.
Although reflective, the original sound track is accompanying the visuals in order to form an immersive experience where you can let your imagination follow the abstract storytelling.
Taking into account the visitor, giving the people the power to participate, change and interact with their environment. We have noticed that people are firstly drawn to the artworks with which they can have an interconnection, following Olab’s first preoccupation: the people in their surroundings.
A mesmerizing experience where the participants wield the power to choreograph their own symphony of illumination through the interactive totems.
The project uses LEDs, an energy source of low consumption to light people and space.
The interactive totems presented in the artwork are composed by 4 self standing metal cases, all weather proofed, with a custom coded system, comprising a hand tracking device, a modular computing device, a LED controller, LED lights RGBIC, and an audio speaker. The users are able to use one hand (any hand) to control the sound and the lights in the area of the interactive totem.
