As an industry professional, I believe it is my duty to promote and spread the idea of meaningful design in society, promoting the recognition of smart consumption. We have a responsibility to promote its necessity, importance, potential and positive impact on the environment and the quality of life of our society.
.In this project we provide a striking example and prove that there is no need to spend additional construction resources to create beauty that will cover the existing one… Concrete seams, heterogeneity of brickwork, foam block seams – they, being the architectural shell of space, already play unique, inimitable decorative roles
.In this project, we are pursuing the goal of making restoration work as easy as possible in the future.
.We very much hope that the interior design we have proposed will be preserved for many years, but at the same time we accept the possibility and take care that in the event of a radical renovation, there will be fewer materials dismantled for the purpose of disposal.
.We care about a solution that would allow our client to change the visual mood of the space without making complex, costly changes. For this purpose, a gallery shelf is organized along the entire living room. By easily changing the exposure, you can introduce certain innovations without disturbing the overall composition and harmony in a given space.
.We strive to use locally sourced products whenever possible. Using natural materials (wood, textiles, etc.), we highly appreciate the importance of their positive impact on the emotional and physical well-being of residents, on their long-term value and aesthetics.
.By using just one element, such as this section of glass block wall, we achieve many combinations of aesthetic and functional benefits. The role of this element in the interior is difficult to overestimate: access of natural light to the room away from windows; a huge number of decorative effects obtained from different lighting simultaneously in several rooms (entrance hall, living room and shower room).7.I would also like to draw attention to such an element in this interior – like traces of jointing on the concrete, which we received from the developer and simply painted. The rhythm of the seams on the bedroom wall is so self-sufficient that there is no need to use any additions. We were very pleased with the interest of a wide audience in these particular details – it turns out that not everyone even understood that this was not a specially created effect, but working with what we had. We simply like to carefully study the potential of the space we are working with and make the most of it. In small rooms, the presence of even the most minimally necessary items for modern life becomes a problem of overloading the space. We visually “unload” it and maintain the necessary functional comfort, “painting under the same denominator” the maximum number of surfaces, as if merging various objects into a common background.
