Crystal clear sound with the peat acoustic panels

After moving house, our customer was very dissatisfied. He could not experience the high sound quality he knew from his old flat in his new home.

What had happened? The room was rotated in terms of proportions – slightly shorter. A reverberant concrete floor, plasterboard walls and large glass surfaces reflected the sound and created a diffuse listening experience.

The sustainable peat acoustic panels were intended to provide a remedy. They absorb some of the sound and thus reduce the diffuse reflections. Positioning the absorbers was a process that took several hours.

Attaching the panels – listening test – repositioning the acoustic panels – listening test – repositioning – listening test.

Once the optimum position of the peat acoustic panels had been found, the picture changed. Our customer returned to the usual clarity of sound. Details and nuances are reproduced very precisely. Now you can experience a wide sound stage, excellent dynamics, natural instrument separation and impressive clarity.
