Design solutions for a sustainable mixed-used building in the natural environment of Coney Island by involving various disciplines (eg. Archi, Civil, MEP) as a coherent whole project, utilising collaboration and integrated design approaches.

The office should explore the future typology of co-working spaces which helps to nurture a healthy community of millennial freelancers and startup companies.

The project should also utilise:

• Programming approach to generate and evaluate different design options that leads to design optimisations (eg. Gross Floor Area)

• Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) to visualise design, assembly processes and work sequences

• Utilise and reduce variations of Prefabricated Precast Volumentric Constrstruction or precast modules in construction

• Simulate and analyse natural light, ventilation and solar performance digitally for minimised energy consumption, maximised passive design performance and optimised renewable energy outcome for high performance building (low energy consumption)
