The new interior of the Lavarice lingerie store in Solaris Shopping Mall reinterprets the brand’s language through form, scale, and light: soft, flowing shapes coexist with precise geometry, and visual clarity combines with an emotional narrative. The space features an elongated layout, high ceilings, and minimal engineering constraints, allowing work with large volumes and structuring perception according to human scale. The central element is the fitting room — a sculptural volume reminiscent of an altar of light, forming the emotional center of the composition.
The cylindrical form of the fitting room engages in dialogue with the straight lines of columns and ceiling, generating spatial dynamics. “Although we rarely use symmetry, here a slight asymmetry softens the composition and the interior’s grandeur, giving the space a sense of liveliness,” – says the co-founder of our Architectural Bureau. Along the longitudinal axis, a smooth sequence unfolds: entrance, display area, fitting rooms — preserving transparency and continuity. Mirrors amplify reflections and visually expand the hall.
The internal layout of the fitting rooms was proposed by the client — an approach tested in previous projects. Lighting is distributed to create soft, flattering reflections in the mirrors without distorting colors. The composition is built on the contrast between fluid monolithic masses and delicate linear details. Monochromatic sandy tones, metal, and matte textures evoke calmness and naturalness, while mirrors and lighting create depth and reflections. Thin metal rails echo motifs from previous interiors, enhancing the sense of lightness.
Lighting is inspired by natural scenarios — caves and Balinese temples, where light dissolves into the texture of materials. Soft lighting establishes an emotional gradient between the open retail area and the intimate fitting room. Optimal locations for screens and lightboxes were carefully determined so that visual content becomes part of the architectural fabric. Integrated storage systems help maintain order without disrupting visual clarity.
The project was implemented in collaboration with the Lavarice team, the technical director, and the brand’s regular contractors. Work was carried out carefully — without dismantling the ceiling and with precise integration of engineering systems. Despite complex logistics, construction proceeded quickly and smoothly.
Lavarice demonstrates how architecture can convey brand values not through decoration, but through form, scale, and light. Corporeality, softness, and internal balance become spatial categories, transforming a commercial interior into a space for personal experience and self-acceptance. This project does not merely design a store — it transforms shopping into an intimate ritual, a signature gesture of the new generation of Lavarice. All furniture and equipment were designed according to the architects’ project.
