In this 62.7m2 older apartment, the layout was completely reimagined. Poor lighting and obstructed views of the ocean were replaced with openness and clarity. The redesign combines the homeowner’s vision of industrial style, personal collections, and practical needs, creating a 2-bedroom, 1-living-room residence with distinct character.

The homeowner’s preference for a commercial, photo-ready vibe inspired a design filled with statement features. Every detail catches the eye: a functional mini bar, the innovative “suspended expansion mesh,” a shoe display wall, a custom mirror for collectible figures, and brick-red cultural stones. The ruggedness of industrial style is softened by the introduction of ocean-inspired elements. Gray-blue walls and a bar counter with wave-like textures, enhanced by accent lighting, create a dreamlike yet grounded atmosphere. This centerpiece invites the homeowner to work, dine, and relax, blending utility with visual depth.

A projector screen replaces the traditional television, while the suspended expansion mesh redefines boundaries between public and private spaces. This element serves not only as a divider but also as a functional feature for storage, display, and hanging items, bringing both practicality and aesthetic allure to the limited space.
