‘Naksh-e-Mejh’ takes inspiration from Rajasthan – Its Rich History, Kaleidoscopic Culture, Inspiring Architecture and Mesmerizing Golden Sand Dunes.
In ‘Naksh-e-Mejh’ myriad brass profiles come together composing the map of Rajasthan, outlining its 33 districts. The contoured profile of the table mimics the form of the undulations in the sand dunes and continues the 3 dimensional silhouette in a Brass to form its base – Strong and Sturdy just as the marvelous walls of a fort.
Being true to its conception, the table express the colorful vibrancy that Rajasthan is known for. The colorful cities come to life in ‘Naksh-e-Mejh’ in its five color variants, each representing the city that inspires it.
Gulabi – Pink City of Jaipur
Sondariya – Goden City of Jaisalmer
Safhed – White city of Udaipur
Rato – Red city of Bikaner and
Aasmani – Blue city of Jodhpur.
The element can also be used as a sculptural wall piece.
