The commercial and office building is located at the intersection (near a roundabout) at the border of two districts – an administratively diverse area and a residential quarter consisting of homogeneous panel buildings. The urban significance of this point is reflected in the design of the corner of the new building. Sculptural glass cantilevers arranged in a cubic composition enhance the sculptural quality of this part. Here, an inset entrance group is situated, seamlessly extending the street plaza and enticing pedestrians inside. The pattern of concrete paving subtly directs human traffic where needed. Continuous glazing of the atrium creates a dynamic internal space and allows sunlight to penetrate, establishing a connection between interior and exterior spaces. In the evening, the building literally becomes “flooded with light,” transforming into a luminous and colorful landmark.
The facades diverging from the striking corner are more restrained. The facade consists of a rhythmic grid with pylons of light-colored stone. Window openings vary in size with an increasing rhythm toward the atrium.
The building comprises six floors, with retail spaces and cafes on the ground floor. Typical floors from 2 to 5 are allocated for offices. The structural grid allows for a flexible layout system that can easily adapt to various needs and can be modified depending on residents’ requirements. Green terraces have been introduced on different floors, enhancing the building’s comfort and functionality
