International Architecture & Design Awards (IADA) 2027
The International Architecture & Design Awards (IADA) recognise interior design from around the world, from corporate headquarters and museums to healthcare centres, shops and workplaces. IADA 2027 is open to interior designers, architects and studios as well as students, and every entry is evaluated by an independent international jury. This page covers the interior design nominations, IADA 2027 fees and deadlines, how interiors are judged and examples of recent winners.
Interior design awards for public, commercial and workplace projects
Interior projects for companies and institutions are often the hardest to show: offices, clinics, galleries and public buildings are designed around people, processes and brand, not only atmosphere. IADA gives these projects their own nominations, so a workplace is compared with workplaces and a museum interior with other exhibition spaces.
IADA is organised by Architecture & Design Community (ADC), operated by Digital Art Group sp. z o.o. in Kraków, Poland, and has been running since 2019. IADA 2027 lists 19 disciplines and 640 nominations; the Interior discipline alone has 32 nominations.

Built interiors and concepts
Both completed interiors and concepts can enter; the project status is shown on each winner page. In 2026, for example, a completed museum interior and a healthcare centre presented as a concept both received Platinum awards. You can enter the same project in more than one nomination, for example a corporate headquarters in Corporate & Office Interior Design and in Sustainable & Eco-friendly Interior Design, if the presentation supports both.

How interior design projects are judged
Each jury member scores every project in its nomination on three criteria:
- Innovation & Originality: the idea behind the interior and how new or distinctive it is.
- Design & Aesthetic Quality: materials, colour, light, furniture and detailing.
- Functionality & Spatial Integration: how well the space serves its users, from workflows in an office to visitor routes in a museum.
The jury scores each entry against these published criteria and the scores are averaged. The highest-ranked projects receive Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze awards, and Honourable Mentions may also be given. Meet the jury on the IADA jury page.

Preparing a strong interior design entry
For commercial and public interiors the jury needs to understand who uses the space and how. Start with the brief: the organisation, its users and what the interior had to achieve. Then show the design responding to it.
- Include a plan that explains zoning and circulation, not only photographs.
- Show the space in use or at human scale where possible.
- Explain material, lighting and acoustic decisions, especially in workplaces and healthcare settings.
- For renovations, show what existed before and what changed.
- Credit the full design team and state the project status accurately.
Our guide How to enter IADA explains the materials to prepare.
