Crittall steel fenestration systems have long been synonymous with quality, craftsmanship and visual appeal. The company’s latest offering continues this tradition, pushing new boundaries in performance with T60 – an innovative, thermally-broken steel window and door system combining the aesthetics of the company’s traditional fenestration solutions with 21st century thermal and acoustic performance levels.
Incorporating an advanced, high-density thermal isolator, facilitating high-performance double- and triple-glazing up to 32mm wide, the T60 system surpasses current regulation requirements, while visually remaining almost identical to Crittall’s traditional rolled steel profiles.
Thermal Break
By employing thermal break technology, T60 can provide contemporary comfort levels in environments where traditional steel windows may have previously struggled. Importantly the windows and doors retain slim sightlines to maximise visual appeal and daylighting. Fitted with high-performance insulating glass, T60 will provide a whole window U-value as low as 0.8 W/m²K. Sound reduction over 40dB can be achieved using laminated sound-reducing glass. Each frame is fully welded ensuring strength and durability.
As specifiers would expect from Crittall, T60 complies with the latest EN performance standards for air filtration, water permeability and structural wind-resistance and conforms to security standard EN16727, with optional multi-locking available for additional peace of mind. Functionality is further boosted by a wide range of opening configurations and its clean, slender design makes it ideally suited to new build or restoration projects.
